Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.

In my humble opinion this is the most important page on my entire website. After all if you and/or I are going to work with people we don’t like, we might as well have stayed in a big corporation.
You have surely heard the statement “Hind Sight is 20/20”. I am a great example of that as I continually learn more about myself by taking time to reflect. In those quiet moments, when I learn the most, I am amazed at the life lessons that seemingly show up in my life just when they are needed.
While I have had a number of different titles over the years: Father, Husband, US Navy, Systems Engineer, Motorcycle Safety Instructor, Coach, Teacher, Business Owner, I found that the common thread was that I have a talent for problem solving and enjoy sharing my knowledge. I now focus those talents on helping you grow your business.
I have been accused of spending way too much time in Starbucks, but I must confess there is something so very pleasing about a great cup of hot coffee.
Adventurous would be an appropriate term to describe me. I love being outdoors, staying active and enjoy a broad range of hobbies. Archery, Motorcycles, Fishing, Running, Weight-lifting, Hunting, Reading, Hiking, and Skeet shooting, just to name a few.
Personal Development is core to who I am. Somewhere along the line I developed an insatiable desire for learning: knowledge, wisdom and understanding are among the greatest gifts available to everyone willing to pursue them.
However, I am ashamed to say that for years I lived my life with blinders on. Pride, Arrogance and Selfishness ruled my life, because I let them. And, the worse part of it all is that I had to wait until I had hit rock bottom to hear the countless lessons that had been offered to me, in attempt to help.
Not so surprising is that once I got my life in balance, success seem to follow me and I have lost count of the many blessings. I start each day with an attitude of gratitude for those countless blessings that I and my family have received. I’m not so nieve to expect that everyone will live life the way I do, but on the other hand I make no apologies for who I am. After all if we were all exactly the same this world would be an incredibly boring place to live.
I would be remiss without telling you that, I count my beautiful wife, my two adult boys, my siblings Pam and Karen and my loving parents among the many blessings I have received. The loss of my younger brother, Kevin, much too early in life, is a stark reminder that we are never guaranteed tomorrow.
Another thing that I will proudly confess is that I am a Christian, a term which I do not use lightly. Unfortunately over time, the word “Christian” has lost a great deal of its significance and is often used by someone who is simply religious but who may or may not be a true follower of Jesus Christ. It has been my experience that way too often this title is thrown around much too easily.
For clarification, what this means to me is very simply that I have put my faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, including his death on the cross as payment for my sins and his resurrection. As such I strive to treat people with respect, kindness and courtesy and in short the way that I believe Jesus would if he were in my shoes. Make no mistake, I fall way short of coming close to living my life as he did, but I get up each morning and attempt to do better today.
I start each morning with my mp3 player listening to the Daily Audio Bible and Daily Audio Proverbs. This simple practice helps me keep life in perspective and aides me in starting each day with the right attitude. My spiritual journey is as much a part of who I am as anything else I accomplish during this lifetime.
Lastly, I love quotes as I find a tremendous amount of inspiration in these sound bites of life.
With Love & Respect,

Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize
how close they were to success when they gave up.
